Ski area Monte Elmo… extremely family friendly
The Ski area Monte Elmo, at a few minutes’ walk from your Wellnesshotel Monika, is the most family friendly ski area of the whole Alta Pusteria. With the panorama cable car from Sesto or the 6-seat gondola from Versciaco you can easily reach the Helm. A four-seat, a three-seat, and two two-seat chairlifts take the winter sports fans towards the top. Enjoy a great ski holiday in the Dolomites.
Over 21 km of slopes and 3 different descents to the bottom of the valley, half of them of medium difficulty and one third difficult, turn skiing on the Monte Elmo in the town of the Three Peaks into a real experience. The 4.8 km "Helm-Vierschach“ slope is one of the longest in the broad alpine valley in the Dolomites. The new "Raut" slope with its 3.8 km and the black slope from the Hahnspiel lift to the hut Lärchenhütte are pretty demanding. For skiing beginners the flat slopes "Wiesenlift" and "Rautlift" offer best conditions for learning skiing.
The view from the Monte Elmo on the Sextener Dolomiten with the famous Sesto mountain sun dial is a pleasure for everybody.
